In-Person
We are in need all volunteers to submit a background. If you are interested in those opportunities, we need you to obtain a background check with the Savannah Police Department. The precinct locations for this check are 602 E. Lathrop Ave. or 1050 Carl Griffin Drive in Savannah, Georgia.

To call for additional information 912-651-6990 (Lathrop Ave.) or 912-652-7634 (Carl Griffin Drive) if needed. Just let them know that you need a background check to work with Shelter From the Rain Inc.

The fee is $20 (cash or money order). There is a 2-3 day turnaround. You can pick it up or authorize Shelter From the Rain to pick it up - Email: [email protected].
