Volunteers Needed With A Background Check
We are in need of childcare volunteers for some events as well. If you are interested in those opportunities, we need you to obtain a background check with the Savannah Police Department. The precinct location for this check is 602 E. Lathrop Ave. and you can call for additional information 912-651-6990 if needed. Just let them know that you need a background check to work with Shelter From the Rain Inc. The fee is $20. There is a 2-3 day turnaround. You can pick it up or authorize Shelter From the Rain to pick it up - Email: [email protected].
