Jennifer T. Graham, MBA
Founder & Executive Director

Jennifer T. Graham is the Executive Director. She founded Shelter From the Rain in 2010, because she has a passion for giving hope to single parents in need. She became a Mother at the age of 16 and understands firsthand the importance of having a community of support while reaching your goals. Jen has worked with local organizations for over a decade to ensure that single parents have the resources that they need to thrive and care for their children.

She is a graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design where she majored in Graphic Design and minored in Advertising. She has earned her MBA in Marketing from Saint Leo University and is the Founder of FreshWorks Media as well. She has served as a volunteer for T.H.A. Group’s Island Hospice, Savannah Church of God, The Living Vine Christian Maternity and several other nonprofits. She has a history of over 20 years in Communications and Marketing with organizations like Savannah Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), Arrhythmia Alliance (an international non-profit that helps patients with arrhythmias) and T.H.A. Group Home Health Care.

She is the mother of an amazing son, Jalin Graham, who plays the viola and attends The Schwob School of Music at Columbus State University.

Peggy Littles
Programs Coordinator

Peggy Littles is the Programs Coordinator. She loves to give back and pour into the lives of others. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from Barry University and is attaining her a Master's Degree in Social Work from Albany State University - Class of 2024. Peggy began at Shelter From the Rain as an Intern and loved the experience. She works with the single parents of our organization to ensure that they have the support and resources that they need to thrive. She takes great joy in aiding the families that we serve. eggy also works for Behavioral Health Link as a 2nd responder for mobile crisis. When she’s not working, she is spending time with her 2 sons, one fur baby and headstrong Mommy plus family in Waycross and Atlanta.

Aundrea Reid
Diaper Bank & Pantry Liaison

Aundrea Reid is the Diaper Bank & Pantry Liaison. Aundrea works hard to ensure that all our Diaper Stations throughout the city are fully stocked with the supplies needed by our single parent families. Beyond her work at Shelter From the Rain, she enjoys time with her family and helping others with financial literacy.

Joanne Morton
Mentorship Program Specialist

Joanne Morton is our Mentorship Specialist. She works with the single mothers in our Mothers with Mentors program to ensure that they meet requirements and explore creative ways to live fully expressed lives. Joanne is also a Positive Energy Artist and Creativity Expert who can help find positive energy and inspiration through art. With her unique approach that combines gratitude, laughter, and creativity, Joanne helps our single mothers overcome frustration and tap into their true potential.
