February "Love Shower" Our Love Shower is a collection of items and donations to help support local single mothers. Beyond monetary donations, volunteers are asked to collect the following items during the month of February. ITEMS NEEDED: Gift Cards Diapers (All Sizes) & Baby Lotion Canned Ravioli & Green Beans Cereal Paper & Plastic Products: Toilet paper and Paper Towels Soap Laundry Detergent Dish Detergent Dryer Sheets Toothpaste |

Shelter From the Rain, Inc. (SFTR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, based out of Savannah, Georgia, that provides assistance to single mothers and children in need through acts of kindness that nurture the mind, body, and soul. Helping single mothers during the rain showers of life provides a sense of hope that enables them to keep moving forward! We provide single mothers with the tools that they need to be successful and provide for their children. We offer: Job Search Assistance, Food Assistance, Baby Supplies, Household Supplies, School Supplies, Clothing Vouchers, Recognition, Mentorship and a Support Group. |
We take great pride in meeting the needs and recognizing the exhausting efforts of single mothers who work hard to provide for their children. It's not easy and we are here to lend a helping hand. We need your help to continue to provide support for single mothers and their children. With your help, we will be able to better meet the needs of single mothers in our community through our outreach, support group, mentorship program and educational workshops.
