SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - Velmarq Tax Professionals and Financial Planners are lending a helping hand to single parent families this holiday season by aiding in the “Hope For the Holidays” project for Shelter From the Rain Inc (SFTR).

In an effort to ease the stress that the holidays can bring to single parent families, Velmarq Group has partnered with SFTR to help provide food and assistance to local single mothers in need.

 “Our mission at VELMARQ is to maintain a model of sustainability-based initiatives that emphasize the importance of stability in family structures” said Velmarq CEO, Craig E. Cook. “This project offers a glimpse of hope to single mothers, who are the driving force behind successful children, that need our support to create the best memories for their children during the holidays.”

Velmarq will provide a Christmas meal to accompany the donations from the community in an effort to support local families in need.
