Shelter From the Rain, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit outreach ministry, based out of Savannah, Georgia, designed to show how God's love shelters us from the different rain showers that come into our lives. The storms of life can often times come rushing in like a flood. During these times it is essential to have the tools by which to cope. Through God's word, we can find all the strength and encouragement we need to survive any storm.              
            
The focus of this ministry is to share the love of God through acts of kindness. We help provide the opportunity to share God's love in one of the simplest ways...GIVING. This includes: the giving of time, the giving of things, and the giving of encouragement to others in need. Through these acts of kindness, our goal is to bring people closer to God’s everlasting love. This ministry is so special because it has the potential to make the biggest difference through the smallest acts. It is our hope that through this simple concept, demonstrating acts of kindness, we will bring people closer to Christ.
